How Does SureSmile Work?

1. Advanced Imaging: It all starts with a scan. We use our high-tech OraScanner or Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) to create a detailed 3D model of your teeth, roots, and jaws. This gives Dr. Rosenzweig a complete view of your oral structure that simply isn’t possible with traditional 2D X-rays.
2. Virtual Treatment Planning: Dr. Rosenzweig uses this 3D model in the SureSmile software to plan your treatment virtually. He can visualize the final result and determine the most efficient path for each tooth to travel to get there. He can see how your teeth fit together from every angle, ensuring a perfect bite.
3. Robotic Precision: Once the plan is finalized, the data is sent to a robot. Yes, a robot! This robot takes a shape-memory alloy wire and bends it with incredible precision to match Dr. Rosenzweig’s prescription exactly.
4. Efficient Movement: When this custom wire is placed in your brackets, it delivers gentle, consistent forces that move your teeth directly to their finished positions. The wire “remembers” the shape it was bent into and works continuously to guide your teeth there.
